Lottery Success
Fantastic News! Following some hard work by James Savill and the Executive Committee, we have just secured a grant of £8000 from The Big Lottery Fund.
This is towards the purchase of the 5 metre Humber rib rescue and training boat which we wrote to parents about in January. Together with the donations made by some of our parents, this means we can now proceed with the purchase of this ideal boat. Very many thanks to all those who have helped. It will make so much difference to the fun and safety of our children's sailing and powerboating experiences.

If you were thinking of contributing, it's not too late. This windfall gives us the opportunity to plan the next vital phase of our fleet development. Six replacement Toppers are seriously needed, and at some point we hope to finance replacement outboards and the purchase of two Laser dinghies. Even very small sums will help us on our way.
